During a shiur in the Three Weeks HaGaon HaRav David Yosef Shlita, a member of Shas� Moetzas Gedolei Hatorah stated clearly �We do not hate Reform Jews but we do hate their derech�. He explained that we are compelled to hate all those seeking to destroy Yiddishkheit and the Reform are counted in this group.

In the rav�s shiur addressing �sinas chinam�, he explained we hate those who make a mockery of Judaism, citing their observance includes Chilul Shabbos and that they are very far from kedusha as they do away with so many mitzvos of the Torah. �So we hate their derech, but we do not hate the individuals. We have rachmanus on them� he stated.
