Amid widespread reports that Yair Netanyahu, the 23-year-old son of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is dating a non-Jew, the prime minister’s bureau chief set the record straight.
It has been reported that the young Netanyahu is dating a Norwegian national, Sandra Leikanger, who is not Jewish. They both attend the IDF Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. Channel 10 News reported that the PM’s bureau chief spoke with Shas leader Aryeh Deri. He set the record straight, explaining Yair and Sandra are not dating, but they simply “study with one another”.
He also told Deri that the prime minister did not discuss his son’s relationship with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg as the media reported.
