An alert was announced along the Gaza border on Sunday 4 Tishrei after evidence of a possible terrorist infiltration was detected. After two hours of combing the area soldiers apprehended an armed Gazan youth who was carrying a knife and a sharp pointed instrument.
The suspect was found by the security officer of one of the Gaza border communities who told the media that it was a miracle that the man was detected prior to entering one of the communities to perpetrate and attack. The suspect was apprehended in the S’dot Negev Regional Council.
