NYPD Investigate Anti-Semitic Graffiti At Mirrer Yeshiva In Flatbush


hThe NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating anti-semitic graffiti found on the Mirrer Yeshiva – located at the intersection of Avenue R and Ocean Parkway. The incident happened on Shabbos afternoon.

Sources tell YWN that students of the Yeshiva witnessed a white male writing references to Hitler YM”S and other anti-Semitic graffiti on a paper sign hanging on the doors of the Yeshiva.

The NYPD 61 Precinct was at the Yeshiva on Motzei Shabbos along with detectives from Hate Crimes, and were attempting to secure security camera footage from various angles.

  1. Some 40 odd years ago on the long summer evenings, some italian youths used to drive by the Yeshiva and throw rocks at the windows.

    A couple of the bochurim desired to make a ‘vigilante’ group to be prepared to confront and stop them.

    R’ Shmuel Berenbaum told them emphatically: “no”
