16:51: There is a report from a hospital in the Uman area that an Israeli tourist is admitted. It is yet unknown if this is the missing man, Amir, as per Hillel Cohen of Ukraine Hatzalah.

16:35 IL: Regarding the ongoing search for Amir, some 150 Breslov Chassidim have been searching the entire area around the tziyun for signs of his whereabouts. The search is being conducted on foot and using vehicles, searching a tens of kilometers.

The Israel Foreign Ministry and diplomatic officials are in contact with local agencies in the Ukraine regarding the missing man. It is reported that local police are not seen in the area at present. Ichud Breslov has hired divers to search the river. A frontal command post was set up in the area of the medical clinic. Many Zaka volunteers are involved in the search effort, including divers.

Israelis in the area continue to report local police do not appear involved in the search efforts.

13:10: The missing man is being identified as Amir Ochana, 28.

12:59: Zaka officials have set up a frontal command station in Uman as the search continues. Zaka calls on any personnel from the organization still in Uman to step forward and assist in the search, which now involved specially trained dogs that were brought in to assist.

12:25: It is added that there is a “medical component” in the case and therefore there is a fear for the man’s life.

08:30 IL: Zaka officials report the search is ongoing for a man who disappeared in Uman on Wednesday, 3 Tishrei. Local police and other authorities in Uman have been contacted. The missing man is a resident of Bat Yam, Israel. He was last seen on the morning of the second day of Rosh Hashanah. His belongings remain in the apartment he was using.

Zaka adds officials have been working through the night and a team is being flown from Israel to Uman to set up a search command center. There is no additional information at this time.
