Hagaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch’s Yeshiva Not Moving To Beit Shemesh As Planned

shteEida Chareidis Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita is moving his yeshiva to the Bayit Vegan area of Jerusalem and not Beit Shemesh as originally planned. The move will take place during the winter zman.

The yeshiva is currently in the Ramot area of the capital and it was expected to move to a larger facility in Beit Shemesh but logistical issues including strong secular opposition to the yeshiva moving into the secular area have led to canceling the plan.

The heads of the yeshiva have since signed an agreement for the expected move to Bayit Vegan as Yeshivas Wolfson is relocating to a larger facility.

The yeshiva that was headed by Rav Peppenheim; Chemdas Moshe, located in Modi’in Illit, merged with Rav Sternbuch’s yeshiva, accounting for the significant growth.
