(Monday, July 19th, 2010)

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained more than 50 points, or 0.6 percent, led by Intel, Boeing and Alcoa, after losing 1 percent last week.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also rose, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq the best performer of the three. The CBOE volatility index, widely considered the best gauge of fear in the market, was below 26 at the closing bell.

Experts said this market is bound to grow and investors should start taking advantage of some of the sectors.
