Moishe Holtzberg Invited To Fly To India With PM Netanyahu As Promised

Nine years after the horrific terror attack in Mumbai, Moishe Holtzberg will be returning for a first time, to the site where his parents Rabbi Gavriel and Rebitzen Rikki HY”D were murdered along with others. Moishe and caretaker Sandra have since been living with their maternal grandfather, Rav Shimon Rosenberg.

The attack in Mumbai began on 26 November 2008, and lasted for four days, targeting numerous objectives including the Mumbai Chabad House.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel in July 2017, and met with Moishe and others. At that time, PM Netanyahu promised Moishe and his family would accompany him on his next official visit to India. Moishe is anxious to see the home where he began his life, the Chabad House that he is planning to run when he reaches the correct age.

Foreign Ministry Director-General Yuval Rotem is in India this week, setting up Mr. Netanyahu’s upcoming visit.
