(VIDEOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday instructed the advisor to the Prime Minister’s Secretary Ronen Peretz to clarify how the construction could be promoted in response to the attack on Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal.

Ministers Ze’ev Elkin and Miri Regev raised the demand of the widow Miriam to approve the construction of 800 housing units in the community in response to the attack, citing her words as “a suitable Zionist response to the murder.” In response, Netanyahu said that he “wants to advance the construction in Har Bracha,” and instructed Peretz to look into the matter.

During the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Mr. Netanyahu addressed the decision of US President Donald Trump to move the embassy to Jerusalem on Independence Day. He said, “This is a great moment for the State of Israel. President Trump’s decision to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem will make our Independence Day celebration even happier.

“Thank you, President Trump, for your leadership, and for your friendship.”
