Report: Israel Likely to Attack in Lebanon in September

(Wednesday, August 27th, 2008)

According to reports in newspapers in the Persian Gulf, Israel is likely to launch a military offensive in Lebanon in the very near future “to restore its pride which was lost in the last war”. This is expected to occur sometime next month. According to the reports, dozens of missile launchers have been placed along the northern border.

The reports add that a diplomatic source close to the British Foreign Office told Persian Gulf media agencies that European and Arab nations are expected to instruct citizens to leave Lebanon in September, expecting the military operation.
