Schools have been ordered closed by the IDF Homefront Command in the following communities due to the expanding Hamas rocket attacks.

Ofakim, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gan HaDrom, Gan Yavne, Lahavim, Be�er Tuvia Regional Council, Eshkol Regional Council, Chof Ashkelon Regional Council, Bnei Shimon Regional Council, Yoav Regional Council, Lachish Regional Council, Merchavim Regional Council, S�dot Negev Regional Council, Shar HaNegev Regional Council, Shafir Regional Council, Netivot, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi, Rahat, Sderot and Beersheva.
