1:45PM IL: News Updates from Eretz Yisrael

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Thursday will make a brief visit to France to meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and other senior officials to discuss demands from European nations for an Israeli halt in the military offensive, at least a 48-hour pause to permit humanitarian aid in Gaza.

12:35PM: Two rockets land in Ashkelon. A number of hysteria victims reported.

13:09: Two Arab children from Gaza, head injuries, are being transferred to Israeli medical officials at Erez Crossing for continued care in Israel. They are being transferred to Schneider Children’s Hospital.
