A Kassam rocket landed in southern Israel on shabbos morning, landing in the S’dot Negev Regional Council.
The Red Alert warning siren was a most unwelcome shabbos morning wakeup call for area residents. Baruch Hashem, the rocket landed in an open area. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The IAF on motzei shabbos bombed a northern Gaza smuggling tunnel in apparent retaliation for the rocket attack.
