The three people who allegedly shot paintballs and yelled out ethnic slurs at three Chaveirim Volunteers in Monsey, are due in court today.
Shashi Ramsaroop, his fianc�e Lindsey Peaks, and her brother Demetrius Torain are facing hate crime charges.
Police say the trio shot a Chasidic man in the stomach with a paintball gun in the Orthodox village of Kaser.
The suspects could face up to 18 years in prison.
