ZAKA en-route to France for search

(Sunday, February 18th, 2007)

zaka logo.jpgAccording to INN, the ZAKA Rescue and Recovery volunteer organization has sent ten of its members to Paris. The volunteers, will search for David Dahan who is the head of the Israeli Defense Ministry mission to Europe. He has been missing since the end of January.

Dahan’s car was found by French officials near the river Seine. While it is believed that he may have committed suicide, the possibility of murder has not been ruled out.

Both France and Israel have decided on ZAKA, which has been recognized by the United Nations as a volunteer organization, as an acceptable alternative.
