A Syrian delegation visited Lebanon for the first official time, meeting in Beirut with Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri to discuss border management, anti-smuggling efforts, economic cooperation, and the issue of missing persons and detainees. Both sides agreed to start drafting a border agreement.
