🚨 Unprecedented Statement from Hatzolah Regarding Potential NYC Takeover Of Maimonides Hospital

In a rare and strongly worded letter, Boro Park, Crown Heights, Flatbush, and Mill Basin Hatzolah Coordinators voiced grave concern over the potential NYC Health + Hospitals takeover of Maimonides Hospital.

The organizations said they “strongly oppose this potential takeover” and warned it is “not in the best interest of our community.” They praised Maimonides’ current leadership and stressed that all hospital operations remain unchanged for now.

Hatzolah vowed to continue opposing the merger and to keep the community informed as discussions with the city continue.

  1. Maimonides killed so many Yidden during covid and is a mess, go to their ER and feel like you are in Congo or another 3rd world country. I welcome new leadership than the CEO who makes $3 million a year?

  2. Just what makes it not in the best interest of the community? They take a position and then don’t support it with facts. Hard to understand what their point is.

  3. Who needs a hospital that does not care about the community? Boro Parksl’s public school buildings are filled with students from other neighborhoods and so is the hospital. They treat the locals as foreigners. They are wholly disrespectful and even Hatzoloh often takes patients elsewhere.

  4. As a former member of The NYC HEALTH AND HOSPITALL CORPORATION The proposed merger is a serious threat to needs of our population and must be stopped

  5. @lakewoodbt Im tired of hearing this. Maimo has lots wrong but what the flip did you want them to do when there was no treatment? You think all the nurses were out smoking in the back??!!?

I know someone who did CPR for 20 minutes on a patient, he dies. Then went to call light in next room and the person complaining that his wife brought food downstairs, no one can get it, and its probably cold.

So the survivors are the ones running around saying that Maimo let them starve…

  6. Is Maimonidies Hospital good now? Meaning before the takeover.

I didn’t have a good experience there. They diagnosed me with Cellulites when it was a dental problem.
