An extraordinary and highly confidential agreement signed approximately six months ago in Europe between a prominent philanthropist and leading Gedolei Yisroel has reportedly generated massive donations to support Torah in Eretz Yisroel.

The agreement was arranged and drafted by HaGaon Rav Avraham Deri, Rav of Be’er Sheva, who traveled special for the signing and served as a witness. The contract was finalized before a Beis Din composed of senior rabbanim connected to Keren Olam HaTorah.

YWN has learned that the Dayanim overseeing the agreement were HaRav Avraham Salim, HaRav Shimon Galai, and HaRav Yosef Chevroni.

The agreement involved a major financial matter the philanthropist was dealing with. He pledged that if the matter was resolved within 12 months, a percentage of the recovered funds would be allocated to Keren Olam HaTorah, with an additional portion directed to mosdos designated by the donor.

Sources say the arrangement has already yielded millions of dollars, with substantial funds now reaching and supporting lomdei Torah across Eretz Yisroel.
