IDF Soldier Given 30 Days Confinement Over “Moshiach” Patch During Chief of Staff Visit

During a visit by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir to a Nahal company in Sa-Nur earlier today, a soldier was spotted wearing a “Moshiach” patch on his vest and was sentenced to 30 days in military confinement. The soldier’s commander received a 14-day suspended sentence, while the company commander was formally reprimanded. The IDF said additional issues were also identified within the company.
