Israel Sees Trump Moving Toward Interim Iran Deal, Influence Now “Very Limited”

Israeli officials increasingly believe President Trump is moving toward an interim agreement with Iran, with Channel 13 reporting that Prime Minister Netanyahu recently told officials Israel’s ability to influence Trump at this stage is now “very limited.”

According to the report, Israel is now mainly focused on shaping the content of the agreement, particularly regarding Lebanon, the north, and the removal of enriched uranium from Iranian territory. The report also says Trump’s shift toward a deal was heavily influenced by close advisers including Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, while Netanyahu adviser Ron Dermer has returned to lead talks with the Americans in recent days.
