Al Mayadeen reports that Iran has suspended its delegation’s planned trip to Switzerland due to continued Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon.

According to sources cited by the Lebanese outlet, Iran informed the United States and mediators that developments in Lebanon are a central issue and could affect whether the negotiations proceed.

Iran also warned that Israeli operations extending up to 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory constitute a violation of the first article of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, which includes provisions related to ending hostilities in Lebanon.
