Degel HaTorah leader Rav Avraham Ravitz is reported in serious condition in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim. He was admitted to Hadassah last Monday and remains in serious/stable condition.
A son of the veteran MK reports the problem appears to be cardiac related and he underwent a surgical procedure last week as well as today, Monday, and he is now conscious and alert to his surroundings, Ynet reports.
UPDATE 22:25: Yitzchak Ravitz, a son of Rav Avraham, reports his father’s condition is improving and he is now “stable” but it is premature for any discussion regarding discharge from the hospital. Yitzchak adds that he father has been very weak over the past days, but today’s surgical procedure has contributed to a significant improvement. He asks the tzibur to daven for Avraham ben Hadassah.
