Degel HaTorah leader Rav Avraham Ravitz is reported in serious condition in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim. He was admitted to Hadassah last Monday and remains in serious/stable condition.
A son of the veteran MK reports the problem appears to be cardiac related and he underwent a surgical procedure last week as well as today, Monday, and he is now conscious and alert to his surroundings, Ynet reports.
UPDATE 22:25: Yitzchak Ravitz, a son of Rav Avraham, reports his father�s condition is improving and he is now �stable� but it is premature for any discussion regarding discharge from the hospital. Yitzchak adds that he father has been very weak over the past days, but today�s surgical procedure has contributed to a significant improvement. He asks the tzibur to daven for Avraham ben Hadassah.
