8:00PM (Tuesday): After an intense investigation by the NYPD, the suspect wanted in the stabbing of a Yeshiva student in Flatbush, has been arrested. The stabbing which was first reported by FlatbushScoop.com, occurred on Motzei Shabbos, February 26th, on Avenue K and East 33rd Street.
Our sources tell us that the suspect was apprehended inside a courthouse on Tuesday afternoon, where he had been for an unrelated crime. The 20-year-old suspect has been identified as Otis Boone, and resides on Watkins Street in the 73 Pct. The exact charges will be published when they are available to us – but he has been charged with with 3 other robberies including the home invasion robberies located at 6910 Ave U.
The Commanding Officer of the 63rd Precinct, Captain Michael Deddo told us thatthe apprehension of the suspect was made possible due to the great cooperation and communication that the community has with the NYPD.He made special mention of Raphael Treitel, the Clergy Liaison assigned to the 63rd Precinct.
The community owes thanks to all the members of the 63rd Precinct who were involved in the case – most notably the Detective Squad – and of course Brooklyn South Chief Joseph Fox, Captain Michael Deddo, the Community Affairs Division of Brooklyn South, under the guidance of Lieutenant Jimmy Woods, and Sergeant Yitzy Jablon.

Good job on catching the thug although they’ll probably release him in a couple years and he’ll continue to stab and rob again. That’s the justice system for you….

You are probably correct.
Let’s see him get charged with (attempted) armed robbery, and attempted murder, and then let’s see some tough judge put him away for a long, long, long time.
