This is indeed what I meant by the post. I did not chas v’shalom mean to compare your friend to Hitler, I was just trying to point out that “smart” does not necessarily mean “good”. There are some who can learn daf yomi and understand it and some who can only learn a few lines of gemara per day and understand it. There are many men who it is wrong for them to learn daf yomi because they don’t get much out of it and could be using their time better by covering less ground but going more in depth. L’fum tzara agra. My point was that just because she is smart doesn’t mean she was always right and many, if not most, people here on this forum believe that women learning daf yomi is wrong.
