“How do you get words from an ascii generator and keep all the double spaces too?“
Place a backtick before and a backtick after the “art”.
Make sure to replace all backticks within the art with apostrophes.
(A more detailed discussion of this can be found on early pages of this thread)

1) No backticks before and after the art.
2) An imbedded backtick within the art, which I replaced with an apostrophe.
“You must be a very special person!!“
