Ive Worked in the jewelry business for awhile, I’ve got to know the different styles and price points starting from Costume jewelry, silver, beads and then theres gold & diamond jewelry. Anyone who knows the business can see whether an item is real or fake. theres nothing wrong with costume or silver, its alot cheaper but its a gift and as long as you dont lie and say it gold/diamond theres nothing wrong.
Saying that diamond dealers are selling fake goods by bringing proof from tiffany prices is a very illogical. its like saying Honda is selling fake cars because if you go to buy a Rolls Royce dealer the cars there are 10x the price… diamonds are priced based on a wide range of “color” “quality” and “size”. But they will especially get price bump when their “certified” by a specific company such as Tiffany…
