Anon, I have heard it’s taught in more than just one seminary. However, I Baruch Hashem am ignorant of the matzav in most seminaries- al tarbeh sicha im isha prevents me from clarifying the exact metzius in the top seminaries, but I’ve spoken to friends with wives from different seminaries who tell me their wives learned Maharal. They all learn Ramban, which, aaccording to the Taz, is clearly Torah shebaal peh as it’s more than basic pshat.
