Thanks LB, I think though that at least of the solutions mentioned here could work-either I can use my “smart” camera, or as was suggested, a stripped down kosher smart phone (has apps but no browser), or maybe what chaver suggested, running the app from a regular laptop. I still have some time, I will have to speak more with the IT people and figure out what works best. For the SMS issue, seems that there are several possibilities. Thanks all, for understanding my dilemma and for all those who have offered solutions. And for those who feel like I do, keep strong- the responses on this thread here are proof that one can stick to ones convictions, with a little creativity and a lot of chizuk from others!
