Why didn’t Reform occur in Sephardic lands?
Because unfortuantly many Rabbanim were not up to the task of being the town Rabbi and didnt always do the proper thing and when Napoleon spread the ideas of the French Revolution , One of which was the Catholic Church was corrupt, some jews adopted a similar idea towards the jewish leadership and it become Reform and the Haskallah
