No, I did not. That is the point. There are different ways to react. All agree that dignity is the underpinning of society. Disregard others dignity and risk all kind of societal ills. We can bow our heads, and pour our hearts to Hashem. We do not have to protest. But we must acknowledge that every human deserves to be treated with respect.
P. S. There is an EXTREME liberal school of thought that humans have no right to dignity. That all of civilization was built despite human dignity. And, if humans would behave like animals we would be far more advanced. If you subscribe to this school, I did not intend to engage you.
