I think people are developing mask derangement syndrome as well.
If you walk around in a mask you are doing very little unless you are also washing your hands well, often and thoroughly, refraining from touching your face and then other things, and not touching your mask when you take it off.
The mask mantra people have shot guns aimed at non mask wearers, without knowing if they can even be carriers, but totally disregard a call for the other crucial issues. Why? Perhaps because they enjoy judging and condeming people more than they worry about covid19? Who knows. But i have heard zero mention of the actual precautions from these people which leads me to wonder how much they really care about stopping the spread.
