If I have a question in gemara or halacha or hashkafa, I ask a rav. I don’t ask a rav questions in politics or medicine. That’s like asking a dentist about a heart attack. You ask people questions in their area of expertise. The only rav I would ever ask about politics was Rav Naftali Neuberger zt”l from NIRC.
