To smerel: The persons responsible for impeaching (or not impeaching) a president and removing (or not removing) her/him from office are all elected politicians. Politics is built into the process. That means that responsible citizens must figure out, for themselves, whether or not impeachment and removal are appropriate. Based on what I know, I am certain that impeachment and removal are warranted and necessary.
