@avirah: thats my point that since almost all poskim forbade shavers, you cant just rely on reb moshe’s heter if you – your rav – does’nt know the reason, makoros – see the above source i quoted from reb moshe from bava basra 130, also see pesachim bottom of 51a, and also hilchos talmud torah.

@mdd1, thats i point i learned most of shas, not just to be yotze daf yomi, you can test me if you want to see how well i know that i learned. (btw most chabad balei batim learn rambam 3 perakim a day – finish all halachos of torah every 11.5 months, (the others learn 1 perek a day)) my point was that the question was asked assuming chabad dosent learn niglah. (i dont learn pilpulim shel hevel, (maharsha in taanis, shala) but i learn beiyun
