none2.0,
“First of all gathering wood is working lol “
Who says? Maybe I’m a plumber, and my heart tells me that “do not work” means I should not do my plumbing job on the Sabbath, and instead focus on my family. And my wife is cold, and I could go gather up some sticks to warm up the fireplace for her (with an already kindled fire)? I’m not making this interpretation up, I’ve met people who think this is what “work” means in relation to the Sabbath. Yet the guy was executed for it. Sure after he’s dead now we know that gathering sticks is work, but too bad nobody told him! Seems unfair, doesn’t it?
You keep telling me to “use my brain” to interpret these commandments, but you are not doing that. Every time I press a question you fall back onto an interpretation that’s from Torah she’baal peh. Or you just insult me.
