First of all, thanks again.

There is a heter called “kidei l’horos”, which means in order to rule a halahcic issue you may read kefirah, etc. Rav Avigdor Miller went to Rav Moshe ZT”L and asked him if he can read the New Testament. Rav Moshe said yes, but only you, since you’re doing it for the purpose of disproving it. Objective reading of such material is not k’dei l’horos and is prohibited.
