and this circles back to the problem with the kids. Mother’s busy, distracted, worried, and tense while trying to care for her ill husband. Children are neglected, lacking attention, lacking security, lacking feeling loved and cared for. Children begin looking elsewhere for attention, security, love, and care.
And so the cycle spins.
