So, the YWN research comittee has come back with only TWO yeshivos that have a “white shirt only” policy. Why is it then, that almost every boy in every yeshiva (even those where presumably there is no such policy) wears a white shirt? Why dont the other yeshivos have such a policy? If it is so pashut that a policy is not necessary, why did these two Yeshivos institute such policies?
