I would go to another store or ignore it. I’ve been in this sort of situation before and when I made it clear that I’m not interested, the guy usually stopped trying. I would advise against talking to him – you’ll look pretty weird and I don’t think it would make a difference. It might even have the opposite effect if he thinks you’re kidding.
