observanteen – I’m with you about not liking being given half stories but don’t be scared in that way. What he, and others, are trying to say is that there may be people looking for info who will try to contact you as a friend (or whatever else he is referring to). If you DO NOT respond to their gesture you should be okay. If someone catches you off gaurd by claiming to know you or someone in your family then you should be suspicious, or at least cautious. But if nothing comes your way you certainly don’t need to be worrying. It’s like warning someone not to open the door for strangers. If nobody knocks than don’t worry. But if they knock and you don’t recognize them, don’t take their word for it that they are your long lost buddy from kindergarten.
