Now that most wall unit air conditioners are made digital only (aside from a few junky brands) I’m faced with a dilema. Most stores have no clue which modal air conditioners work with a shabbos clock. ???????

Unless I misunderstand your needs, this ought to suffice for Shabbos, no?

The advantage of a mechanical dial is that the a/c will come back on if there’s a power outage.

& b) will come back on after power outage (but the clock will then be ‘off’ by as many hrs as the power was off.
buy from yid who will know where to get it.
Rainbow Appliance in lkwd also very good.

I have that feature om my air conditioner; it’s called shabbos goy.

For a frum household, this is necessary if you intend to use an external timer.
