June 18, 2012 2:41 am at 2:41 am #933656YW Moderator-42ModeratorI read that years ago and don’t remember much. Something about rhyme and reason was in there. And jumping to Conclusions. I was told I should reread it as I might actually understand it now that I’m a few years older.
June 18, 2012 3:20 am at 3:20 am #933657OneOfManyParticipantYeah, it’s one of those books that you can enjoy as a child and enjoy when your older in a whole different way. ^_^

“Did anyone here ever read ‘The Phantom Tollbooth’ when they were little?“
I remembered “WolfishMusings” mentioning it, and a Google search of the CR brings up this post:
It is also mentioned in a few other threads.
I read it, but don’t remember much about it. For whatever reason, some books “stick” and others don’t.
I did retain a favorable enough impression of the book that it’s in the collection I gathered for the jr’s.
February 24, 2013 5:37 pm at 5:37 pm #933662Smile E. FaceMemberreally mrs. gorf turned the 19th story into apples and gave them to louis for mishloach manot, but then he ate her by mistake…
and milo was jumping back and forth from conclusions, so he couldn’t save her, though tock did growl
