It matters IF the basis for saying “Moshicah is coming soon” is because of the troubles in the world, which is what the OP is doing.
I agree that we should be expecting him anyway. But if you’re going to base his imminent arrival on current events, you need to show why those events are different than any of those in the past when those people too could have said “Moshiach is coming soon” and he didn’t.

I think the Gemara says that if there are troubles in the world you should expect the coming of Ben-Dovid (can’t remember where, sorry)

My .02 – Actually, I’m not. I’m in the Health field. Perhaps I gave you a clue with my screen name.
It doesn’t bother me that kids or teenagers post, but what bothers me is that they post to adults and don’t have a 5th grade spelling level. I don’t per se care about grammar, but it gets to a point that the whole CR appears childish!

Shtick – I think both would be grammatically correct. But I’m the furthest from an expert; but I think I know how to spell, not like a lot of posters.
