seems like you had previous experience with this and mods didnt. So maybe after all they dont even know!
Jax is not a mod and therefore he can not answer the question. The question has been asked and answered in the manner deemed fit by this mod. this question will not be approved if submitted again

Every now and then we add something to the approved pile which does not belong or we incorrectly place something in the discard pile.
99% of the times this happens we correct the error quickly. You were just too quick for us 😉

btw, ’39. You seem so strict. Chill a bit. offering a chilled glass of fruit juice to a mod is acceptable. telling a mod to chill is not.

are there ever posts that just never go through because the are never approved or deleted, just waiting for another mod, or because a mod always does the current posts and never gets to the “back” posts. no. all posts are either approved or deleted. some are approved and then deleted. others are deleted and then approved (rare). some posts especially very long posts can sit until time permits to review and others are on the edge and time is needed to think about it.

oh, then will you tell me who your favorite CR queen is? no, the moderators guide clearly states in section yud-aleph first paragraph: although moderators are allowed to have favorites, they can not overtly show favoritism to anyone on the boards. now paragraph 2 is even more interesting in that in this paragraph it states: that although you can not overtly show favortism to anyone on the boards (see paragraph 1, you can show displeasure with those that do not warrant most favored status.

to whichever mod is on now: I finally took the time to type up my DT post (ha). Can you take a few minutes to read it through and make sure it’s understandable? I’m not so sure I made sense at all.
If there’s something big that should be fixed, please email me ASAP. I appreciate you partnering up with me and my DT ;);)
mods: what’s your favourite part of being a mod?! deleting silly comments and quesions from the users. that and delaying the moderation to make the users go crazy.
once a week we sit around the CR roundtable and swap stories about posts we deleted – lots of fun.
