I dont have any bad habits and have never had BUT:

cold turkey self control worked best for me the many times i stopped smoking.

after a couple of days the brain remaps itself to stop impulsively doing things.

    Use poisonous nail polish.

Drinking a bottle of poison would do the trick as well.

Dip your nails in lemon juice, or some other edible but awful-tasting substance.

Or, if you’re female, apply nail polish. I, for one, wouldn’t want to ingest that stuff.

smoking – read alan carrs book. By the time you finish the book you will have stopped smoking.

I have never smoked but i know people who have found this book incredibly successful.

biting nails – use that special nail polish kind of thing apparently also v. affective..

The nail polish is kind of like you’re threatening yourself.

Threats are not good. The are destructive and unnecessary.

Good point…. I guess, before I can come up with a counterargument, I should ask how and why you consider nail polish threatening.

Mind you, I enjoy having these conversations. Please don’t take it the wrong way! 🙂
