So anyway I needed a break and I got in my car heading south. I am currently in North Carolina, and gonna drive in whichever way the wind blows. My question is, in case I happen to be in some random town for Shabbos, does anyone know how I can find locations of Chabad houses in the area? I’ll be on the road so I probably wont respond to any posts till later, but any info you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

Chabad has a great Web site, Chabad.org, which includes a “Find a Center” feature.

I have non-frum cousins in Austin, Texas, and I know they just found a chabad house there with very nice people. The city is also a really nice place to! Great weather, fun places to go, and really gorgeous from what I hear! maybe consider it.

Yes, use the Chabad web site. You will find centers nearest to the town or zip code you are in with a simple search.

And yes, Austin Chabad has a great reputation – I am blanking out on the shaliach’s name but “everyone knows him”.
