A couple of tips:
1) Ascii art is best with a fixed-with font such as courier or courier new. The “Font” tag is disabled (for us) on this page, but putting a backtick before and after the entire drawing both preserves spaces and forces a fixed font.
2) The first line within the backticks left-justifies. Try using a “throwaway” first line before your art.
3) The backtick is the little apostrophe-like character under the tilde.
4) Before risking a public viewing of not-ready-for-prime-time ascii art, why not try it in the CR Laboratory?
