November 13, 2012 6:52 pm at 6:52 pm #907080popa_bar_abbaParticipantIt is sickening that people go to Midtown Manhattan on dates.
A yiddishe date is something pure; it is for purposes of kedusha. It is insane that you would wish to degrade and sully it by taking it to that makom tummaa.
Better to go to a beis medrash.
November 13, 2012 10:36 pm at 10:36 pm #907081MorahRachMemberCoffee bean and tea leaf is nice and in the warmer months you can’t sit outside, they have kosher sandwiches besides their drinks. LE marais is a great restaurant too!
November 13, 2012 10:51 pm at 10:51 pm #907082farrocksMemberIf it is one of the first two or three dates, the hotel lobby at any one of many hotels would be perfect.
November 15, 2012 11:31 am at 11:31 am #907083sem20MemberT-Fusion Steakhouse in Brooklyn. Dave and Busters. ESPN used to be a great place, but im pretty sure they closed down in Manhattan. for more comfortable dates, there’s always Toys R us in times square, make sure to get on the Ferris wheel 🙂 The Marriott Marquis 48th Fl, called the View, its a revolving floor, great place to go.
Go to Mekomos.com for more info.

November 15, 2012 8:54 pm at 8:54 pm #907085yitzman1MemberESPN doesn’t exist anymore in time square and my most favorite dessert is on the upper west side not east.
