Many dentists play classical music. I find it unnerving. Dont try to fool me into a false sense of security!

Dentists are people stuck psychologically at the stage at which a person sticks his fingers into other people’s mouths (6-12 months).
They are evil.

My dentist lets me have a choice of music I listen to. Unfortunately, it’s a rather limited selection of children’s cassette tapes, like Sesame Street. I don’t know which sounds scarier: the dentist’s drill or Elmo’s voice. 😛 B”H, I take good care of myself post-Purim, and so does my dentist, so I rarely hear that drill.
@LAB – Come to think of it, the dentist’s drill sounds very similar to more “modern” music, complete with record scratches and other technologically-induced noises. No offense to Dr. Dreizech, of course!
Why don’t they give you the option of being unconscious most of the time? they want to see you suffer.

B”H I was “crowned” today. My coronation means no more trips to the dentist for a little while, until the weather is more stable, and I don’t have to keep cancelling my appointments because the car is snowed in.
I have to make a dentist appointment soon but I’m scared the dentist will steal all my teeth
Speaking of dentists, can anyone recommend a good one on lakewood? So many people still go to Brooklyn, saying there are no good ones on Lakewood. has anyone used Dr. Polinsky?

I love going to my dentist. He’s geshmak! He also happens to be my father, but on an objective level, he’s geshmak! Dentists are cool! They have these funky chairs, and all these cool instruments, and they employ physics and biology among other disciplines. They even get to paint sometimes and make cement, and sometimes that cement is color changing and basically dentists are really cool so everyone who isn’t so pleased with his/her dentist should just remember that dentists rock! The end.

Dentists are evil. And so are 89.4% of geometry teachers.
rebyidd-you were so so close to having a good argument, but you forgot one of the most important aspects-a qualifier. You may or may not have a valid point on geometry teachers, but because you generalize all dentists as evil, you lose the case. Besides, you wouldn’t be calling my father evil would you? Cuz then i may have to take drastic measures.:)
I’m not generalizing–good people don’t grow up dreaming of becoming dentists, and besides, I wasn’t aware that it was a serious argument.
